Here is the final letter of the courtship, detailing arrangements for the wedding. 

John and Nursie live in two different time zones thirty minutes apart (but only eight miles as the crow flies; ten miles by road). Although Standard Time had been introduced by the larger railroads in the north of the country in the late 1800's, the Florida lines had not yet adopted Eastern Standard Time.
